Thursday, December 3, 2020During the holiday season, nothing does a better job of getting us in the Christmas spirit than a magnificent display of holiday lights. With the daunting lockdowns and early sunsets, the bright lights are good for our soul and help create our own Michigan winter wonderland.

Sherwood Brewing Company is closed for indoor dining but on select Thursday's we are opening our doors for some retail therapy. Our annual Sip N Shop will look a little different, but it is still bringing several unique, Michigan based vendors.

This is a festival of lights located in Westland, MI. It is a four and a half mile drive down Hines Drive, and it is the “…Midwest’s longest drive-through holiday light display” (Michigan Life). Even better? You can find Santa Claus in his workshop at the end. This costs $5 per vehicle to enter the drive.
The Big Bright Light Show-Rochester
During the holiday season downtown Rochester turns into a magical winter wonderland. All of the stores will be decked in over a million twinkling lights. Take your family to check it out any night this month.
Campus Martius- Downtown Detroit
Check out the enormous 60 foot Christmas tree either on foot or on ice skates. You can enjoy the sight of the tree for free, and you can skate on the ice rink at Campus Martius park. (CHECK WEBSITE DUE TO CURRENT COVID RESTRICTIONS)
